Coffee of the world's best variety, really. Coffee is judged on the basis of a number of different criteria in terms of taste and quality according to a scale that reaches up to 100 points. All coffee that gets over 80 points is so-called specialty coffee.
Only 5% of the world's coffee beans get such high scores - Jokkmokk's coffee is made from these beans. That it is also so fresh that the bag would explode, if it were not for the air hole on the back where the coffee gases can sniff out, does not make things worse. So fresh coffee is not usually available in stores.
The fact that it is organic and that the producers, growers and everyone in the entire chain get paid fairly makes the whole thing even better. And then there is the taste .... mmm.
Toasted by the coffee pros from Tornedalen, north of Jokkmokk, to this store.
Available in 250 gram or 1 kilo bags. The large bag can be resealed and lasts a long time.
Brewed coffee, coffee for boiling (coarsely ground) and whole beans are available to choose from.
Coffee can also be frozen. If anything remains ...
Of course, it tastes best with brewed coffee cooked over the fire ... we think. That special taste that means nothing else is needed. It is black at best.
