The handwoven ribbon is a decoration that is loosely tied at the back and can be removed - it can also cover the two screw holes in the horn if the ribbon is pulled over there. The holes are there for the candlestick to be screwed to the wall.
The hand-forged candle cup in the shape of a traditional sami wooden cup is specially made for this shop - a collaboration between art smith Carina Nolåker and ELD by Jokkmokk. The candle cup has Biejvve, the Sami sun sign, as a stamp on the upper edge. Biejvve was one of the goddesses in the early Sami nature religion.
